This concluding chapter offers a synthetic answer for environmental and technological challenges. After all, if we keep expanding Confucian care, it will go beyond even animals, and eventually reach everything in the world. The chapter thus provides the Confucian perspective on caring for the environment and the social changes which arise from the advent of technology. The chapter then attempts to show how these Confucian alternatives discussed thus far in this work can be realized. The first thing that needs to be done is to acknowledge that history has not ended with liberal democratic orders, and that we need to search for better political models.
